An exciting new opportunity to work with our Software Development and IT teams scoping out new potential developments for applications used by our employees.

We are striving to automate and integrate processes across all areas of the firm and require a capable and structured individual with experience in the Microsoft 365 development platform.

The ability to collaborate with our existing SQL developers to present data in an accessible way through Power BI and Power App integration would be a secondary objective of the role.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

The main focus for this position will be to undertake projects integrating Microsoft Teams, Teams Apps, SharePoint and the Power Platform with the firm’s processes and systems to deliver efficient and intuitive solutions

The successful candidate would also be responsible for making use of the new Microsoft Viva platform to integrate our SharePoint company intranet site to Teams. Technologies such as Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics are also used within the firm and the candidate should ideally be able to incorporate these technologies into relevant solutions.

Whilst there will be well defined new and existing projects, the role will also involve liaising directly with departments to review processes and offer solutions to optimise work within the company. As such excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will be essential.

This role will work closely with the Software Development, Infrastructure and IT Support teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure requirements are delivered. It will be necessary to collaborate with other in-house developers to build knowledge, experience and understanding of new and existing solutions as a team.

Taking ownership of projects and being able to deliver workable solutions will be key. The ideal candidate will have to demonstrate the ability to take the initiative as well as showing adaptability when responding to evolving briefs.

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

·Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Platform and Teams app development

·Knowledge of SharePoint development

·Experience with Microsoft Power Platform

oPower Apps

oPower Automate

oPower BI

·Design solutions utilising best practices, create and update documentation

·Work with the business to understand and analyse requirements.

·An ability to build productive internal customer focused relationships within the business.

·Support with training others in the use of Teams Apps / PowerApps

·Assist with establishing a change management framework for updates

·Web development experience

·Knowledge of Microsoft Graph

·Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse

·Knowledge of Visual Studio, .NET, C#

·Understanding of APIs and other connectors

The following skills would also be beneficial:

·Experience of SQL

·Knowledge of Dynamics 365

·Experience in design and testing of software & processes

Experience with issue and project tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or TFS
