Charles focuses on electronics and telecoms and joined EIP having completed a Master's degree in Physics at University College London.
His final year project was a study into increasing the efficiency of reluctance accelerators by analysing a wide range of possible magnetic sheath geometries. This included both setting up and running simulations of calculated magnetic coupling to a projectile for various sheaths, and testing these findings by constructing a reluctance accelerator.
Since joining EIP, Charles has drafted patent applications for a range of clients including SMEs and large multinationals, focusing on electronics, 3D printing, image processing, healthcare and display devices.
