Prior to joining EIP Rebecca spent two years working as a mechanical engineer, primarily on the design, development and delivery of equipment for handling and launch systems on submarines and surface vessels.

Rebecca holds a first class master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath and a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Bournemouth University.

Since joining EIP, Rebecca has worked on the drafting and prosecution of patent applications for multinational clients and SMEs in the UK, Europe and further afield. She has liaised directly with inventors and with in-house IP practitioners.

Rebecca has gained experience of patent law in a number of jurisdictions, including Europe, the US and Japan.
