Newly Qualified (EPA/CPA) Patent Attorney - High-Tech Electronics - London
London

Newly-qualified patent attorney needed to support established EIP senior associate with a caseload of high-quality telecoms work.

Working alongside one of the busiest EIP attorneys, this role will handle predominantly telecoms work on behalf of some of the field's leading companies. There will be an opportunity to see the whole patent life cycle including exposure to litigation support work. The caseload is exclusively on behalf of direct clients and so there is a real opportunity to hone the client care skills that may already have started developing.

Candidates should have qualified on a UK and European basis within the last couple of years though finalists or those waiting for exam results will also be considered. A background in electronics work is important as is some exposure and interest in working with telecommunication patents. The role will include an element of litigation support work. There is no requirement that attorneys have exposure to this type of work at the point of application, though an interest in this area would be helpful.

EIP offers an inclusive modern culture where you will work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels. Whilst this role works most closely with one of the senior associates, there is also a chance to work with one of the leading partners at EIP. With server/cloud based systems, a flexible working model is available at EIP and we will happily discuss this with interested applicants.

Patent Paralegal - London
London

Patent Paralegal required for our growing national team of patent support professionals.

Within a national group of paralegals, the patent support team in London remains at the heart of our business, providing administrative and PA support to our highly skilled team of fee earners.

Paralegals work closely with their allocated Fee Earner(s), dealing with secretarial and administrative tasks and allowing their Fee Earner(s) to make the best use of their time. They also perform certain aspects of patent and/or trademark work without guidance, and this requires knowledge of the relevant patent, trademark and design application procedures.

Paralegals should have good knowledge of EIP, its activities and key people, to ensure that work can be handled appropriately for and on behalf of Fee Earner(s) at all times, including when they are absent.

Our unique system of allocating attorneys to paralegals means you are never overloaded with an excessive number of fee earners allowing you to focus on delivering a high quality service.

So, if you have around 2-5 years experience in a similar role, knowledge of Inprotech and using EPOline, good time management & organisational skills, and strong work ethic we are interested to hear from you.
