We're always searching for the best people.
If you can't find the ideal role, we still want to hear from you.
Building on recent success, EIP Digital is looking to expand to keep up with the pace of client demand.
Attorneys who have passed, or are exempt from, their foundation papers are of interest but we are also actively looking for attorneys up to and including senior associates.
Experience of working on IP in the electronics field is essential with a background in electronic engineering or related subjects preferred. There is a healthy mix of direct client and foreign associate work on offer and attorneys can expect a broad mix of technical subject matter.
Our recently refurbished Bath & Cardiff offices offer a modern, dynamic environment in which attorneys at all levels are thriving. You may already be based locally to one of these offices, but whether you are seeking a move to a bustling capital city or a historic spa town, the EIP West group has something to offer.
If you are interested in this role, have the requisite expertise but are interested in one of our other offices, do get in touch. Opportunities exist across our 4 UK offices.
For details, or to apply, please contact us via careers@eip.com
Apply for this roleA significant position in the EIP Digital group, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Associate or aspirational Associate to develop their skills at the coalface of some exciting direct client relationships.
The successful attorney will handle a mixture of work. This will include drafting and prosecution work but there is also a chance to combine a prosecution caseload with some exciting work in litigation support where the opportunity allows.
We are looking for a candidate who can offer expertise in electronics matters and who is familiar with technologies in the software and wireless / telecoms sectors, though all backgrounds will be considered. Due to EIP’s predominantly direct client base, experience in handling drafting & prosecution on behalf of direct clients would be advantageous. This role will also include an element of client care and the successful attorney will have the chance to mange client accounts, both interfacing with the client themselves and coordinating the EIP team internally to ensure high levels of service delivery.
For those outside London, our state-of-the-art IT and communication systems mean we can consider attorneys for any of our UK offices.
And it is not just our IT! With stylish modern offices, a smart casual dress policy, a generous bonus structure and a team of outgoing, supportive colleagues, come and see why EIP is truly "Better; different"!
Apply for this roleEIP Dynamics continues its impressive recent growth and is looking for further like-minded professionals to join the team.
EIP Dynamics, the mechanical engineering arm of EIP, is continuing to develop at a rapid rate. Increased work from existing clients has been supplemented by additional client acquisitions allowing the group to bring in some new attorneys.
Typically, the technical work will include (but is not limited to) manufacturing, logistics, aeronautical and consumer device technologies. This is almost exclusively direct client work on behalf of multinational corporations across various sectors.
We would expect candidates to have qualified as a UK and European Patent Attorney, though we will also consider those waiting for their most recent and final set of exams. An academic and practical background in engineering and mechanical matters is essential with any experience touching on high-tech inventions being helpful (though not essential). You will be comfortable working in a modern, fast-paced environment where you are given a level of autonomy to do your work.
With our state-of-the-art, paperless systems we can place this role in any UK office without compromising the quality of work on the attorney's desk.
