EIP host seminar in Cardiff on how to get the most value from your IP

EIP will be holding a seminar in Cardiff on 12 March on how companies can get the most value from their IP.

Expert speakers from EIP, Constellation Capital, and IP Wales will explain how companies can maximise the value of their IP, whether they are a start-up or an established company looking to grow their business or attract investment.

Speakers from EIP will present a case study on managing IP from start-up to exit and will also discuss the government’s new Patent Box benefit, which comes into force on 1 April 2013 and offers businesses a lower rate of Corporation Tax on profits from patented inventions.  EIP has a team of Patent Box experts and its proprietary service, Patentise, provides the assistance companies need to maximise the benefit of the Patent Box.

A leading expert on IP exploitation in Wales will discuss what lessons have been learnt from the award winning IP Wales initiative on how local businesses have best extracted value from their IP.

An investor and serial entrepreneur with a track record of starting and building several businesses will provide insights on the importance that investors place on IP.

The seminar will be held at the Clubhouse Lounge at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on Tuesday 12 March 2013. Registration is from 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
