EIP are supporting the Bright SCIdea Challenge; a competition for university students to pitch their business plans, and turn their ideas into reality.

The Society of Chemical Industry (SCI) is welcoming teams of three-five university students to develop a plausible scientific concept with a social benefit, and watch this progress into a validated commercialised product. The final will see all qualifiers pitch their ideas to a panel of high-profile judges, for a chance to win the £1,000 prize.

Business training is provided along the way in exclusive training videos, and EIP’s Darren Smyth will be participating in these talking about the importance of Intellectual Property.
