Nick Transier receives Super Lawyers 2017 recognition

Partner Nick Transier has been named a San Diego Super Lawyers Rising Star for the second time.

Super Lawyers celebrates those who have achieved a high level of professional achievement and peer recognition. Selection for the Super Lawyers list is through peer nominations and independent research and less than 2.5 per cent of eligible attorneys in the state of California achieve Rising Stars status.

Nick is head of EIP’s post-grant proceedings team (EIP Post) and also focuses on patent drafting and prosecution. His technical expertise is in computer hardware and software systems, additive manufacturing (3D printing), medical devices and mechanical devices among others. Nick was also selected for the 2016 edition of Super Lawyers.

EIP named one of Europe's leading patent firms for the eighth year running, with gold in five sectors

EIP has again been named one of Europe's leading patent law firms by the Financial Times. In its 2026 ranking, EIP earned gold in five of the six technology sectors, and silver in the sixth, Materials and Nanotechnology. It is the eighth year running the firm has featured, every year since the ranking began in 2019.
