Three trainee patent attorneys from EIP have achieved the highest grades possible in the Certificate of Intellectual Property examinations.

Fergus Tyrrell, Paul Beynon and Gemma Wooden all achieved a distinction in the course at Queen Mary University of London. Of 58 candidates sitting the exams, only ten achieved a distinction, with Fergus attaining the second highest distinction in the year.

Partner Jerome Spaargaren said: “This was a truly exceptional set of exam results by our trainees this year. I’d like to congratulate Fergus, Paul and Gemma on their success and what is a fantastic start to their careers in IP.”
